Willow (Cambrie Schroder), a strong-willed teenager from Malibu, decides she wants to go in search of the father she has never met. Her journey leads her to the Sierra Nevada mountains where she introduces herself to her dad Jack (Schroder), a cowboy who earns a living by training and selling wild horses. When Willow finds a tied up Mustang she feels an immediate bond with him and is determined to set the horse free but Jack wants to break him in. Having already struggled to make a connection with each other, will Willow and Jack only be driven further apart over the conflict?
